Autism Exit

Autism Exit (Australia) Inc is a dynamic not-for-profit association, registered in Australia, dedicated to helping children and adults with autism to lead happy and healthy lives. The association is run by families who are currently helping their own autistic children, with the aim of benefiting other families who have been touched by autism. The approach used is holistic – targeting social skills, neurological, physical, auditory and sensory challenges.

  • Autism Exit employs overseas-trained staff with knowledge of the latest methods in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders.
  • Autism Exit facilitates meetings of members of the Association for the purpose of disseminating knowledge of various autism treatment methods.

Regular Online Meetings

Autism Exit currently provides an online video meeting facility for the use of a number of Australian families involved in the Son-Rise program.

Every two weeks, from 8:30 to 9:30 on Friday evening, these families are able to communicate online, sharing both their knowledge and personal experiences with one another. This provides not only useful information but also much needed encouragement. Participation in these video conferences is by invitation and the cost of the service is paid by Autism Exit (Australia).   • Autism Exit assists in the training of appropriate people in the methods and treatment of autism.
  • Autism Exit facilitates visits by overseas specialists, such as autism specialist Dr James Neubrander, and specialist trainers from the Son-Rise program in the USA, to conduct seminars and workshops with Association members.
  • Autism Exit has formed contacts with psychologists and program directors worldwide and facilitates distribution of the most up-to-date information to families affected by autism.
  • Autism Exit is funded through annual membership subscriptions and donations.
